Bright Embroidered Boho Styles

Things have been super summery on the blog the past couple of weeks…from eyelet to ice cream sandwiches, and we are loving it! Another trend that looks pretty in theses warm temperatures are bright embroidered boho styles. They complement a tan nicely and I like stying them with white bottoms, straw accessories and gold jewelry.

I have been shopping lately and am absolutely inspired to start wearing all kinds of new colors and styles. While fall is approaching, it is still summer and the days are hot…I find myself torn between wearing beachy, all white ensembles and fall colored styles. Yes, I live in Miami where it is acceptable to wear summer looks year round. However, I grew up in the Midwest where there was a change in seasons..so as the fall months approach, I like to recognize the change in seasons by wearing fall colors, even if they are sleeveless. Polka dots are a trend that I usually do not gravitate towards because they can feel dated. However, they have been a major trend for 2017 and I keep seeing styles that I want to wear. Little Black Dresses (LBD’s) are a staple in my and most of our wardrobes. They are timeless, elegant and flattering. If you are unsure of what to wear…there is a strong chance you may reach for a LBD. I have a number of LBD’s because there are a variety of occasions on which I may need one and I like to be prepared for any event. I have decided there are four primary categories that will ensure you are prepared for almost any occasion. They are listed below in order from the most to the least dressy.

Since I live in Florida, I try to not to wear anything that may seem touristy but, this season, I will be taking that risk.
